The first Edinburgh Festival of Sound took place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of November 2018 at Teviot Row House in Edinburgh. It will return for a second edition in 2019 - date tbc.

With a varied programme catering to amateurs and professionals alike, the festival aims to educate and engage people with the audio industry by showcasing the latest in audio technology, development and creativity.

At the festival, you can expect to see cutting-edge tech, interactive sound-based exhibits, production workshops, demonstrations, Q&As, performances and talks by audio professionals – including a conference in which all audio expressions will be explored by experts from different fields - from software to hardware; from research to design and performance; covering various subjects such as the use of artificial intelligence and immersive audio.
