STEP INSIDE THE EVOLVING WORLD OF SOUND & TECHNOLOGY
After a successful first year, The Edinburgh Festival of Sound returns on 2nd & 3rd November 2019 at Teviot Row House
Aside from Edinburgh’s well-respected university and arts culture, the city is also an innovation powerhouse, boasting a considerable events and business ecosystem; a growing number of these revolutionising the audio industry. This makes it a great stage to host an international gathering of audio professionals, enthusiasts and aspiring creatives.
After a successful launch in 2018, The Edinburgh Festival of Sound plans to run the second edition of the festival in 2019 at Teviot Row House in Edinburgh. The exciting programme will feature a showcase of the latest in audio technology, with a 2-day professional forum focused on pushing the boundaries of R&D, audio skills workshops, as well as installations and performances for people interested in all things audio.
The festival aims to:
To help shape the future of research & development into audio technology
Provide international networking opportunities for aspiring audio professionals
Educate and inspire a new generation of sound seekers
Support local creative talent and projects and exhibit them hand in hand with nationally acclaimed artists and manufacturers in the audio industry
The Edinburgh Festival of Sound is envisioned to scale up year upon year, attracting a growing audience of engaged audio enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, with increasing international attendance and participation.
