The Study Sessions are where the specialists share their knowledge, tips and tricks about audio production so you can hone your skills. The Study is located next to New Amphion (Exhibitor Zone). Spaces are limited and on a first come first serve basis - there are between 20 - 80 spaces per workshop

Roland DJ Controllers - Going way beyond a typical DJ controller, the DJ-808 and DJ-505 are instruments, with a Roland “TR-S” drum machine that contains the world’s most iconic drum sounds and can even control the Serato Sampler within Serato DJ Pro.

Physical Audio exists to push the boundaries of real-time physical modelling synthesis. They create audio plug-ins using numerical modelling of acoustic systems such as bars, strings, plates and connecting elements. These techniques produce physical models that have real acoustic qualities and dynamic expression, without using any samples or effects processing.

14:30 - 15:00 ~ Krotos “Reformer” Sound Design Competition
Ever wanted to sound like a dragon? Krotos audio create software that provides a “Sound Design Sandbox”, and have helped create the voice sounds of monsters, weapons and loads of other sound effects. In this competition, we pick a panel of participants to take part in a competition to add sound effects using their voice and Krotos’ software, with the audience judging who did it best. Prize for the best production!
